It’s a rainy day here in Halifax NS. I’m transitioning between two houses so to kill time and stay dry, I came to a coffee house near Dalhousie University.
I’ve just spent the last day hanging out with my Katimavik friend and her friend which has been great. She’s heading back to her town though so I’m figuring out my Couchsurf hosts for Iceland and calculating my budget. I’ve been able to survive quiet well.
In May, (May 3-26) I spent $370 in Montreal, Richmond Quebec, and PEI. This includes all food (mostly organic),transportation, attractions and accommodations!
I went to multiple museums, mediation, horse back riding, lobster fishing, on a motorcycle ride, a katimavik reunion, two learning experiences at organic bee hives a weekend with my family and beach trips.
As of today, June 14, I’ve spent $200 for the month of June. There are more bars and young people so that adds up. This sum also includes everything so it’s not that bad for a trip to the States, staying in St.Andrews, yoga, pilates/boxing, and gym classes, and partying in Halifax.
It’s quite affordable to travel as long as I maintain control over my spending.
#journaling, #reading and enjoying a London Fog to stay out of this #Halifax rain. (at Coburg Coffee House)
